Bill gets his groove back

You (Aaron Eckhart) are in a rut. Your wife is cheating on you. You publicly assault her lover. You move out & in with your brother, a former celebrity high school football player who is married to a man. His husband helps you in "upgrading the package". You need a makeover. You start swimming laps again. You shave your body. Buy new clothes.

Meanwhile you mentor a high school student. He & his friends help you get your wife back. You've only ever had sex with one person—your wife. Until you "smoke chronic" at a tent party in your brother's backyard. You get lucky with a co-ed.

No gay roles for actual gays

Straight actor plays a gay role. The in-depth discussion reveals strange realities.  (A) Theater & Hollywood are full of gay people. Yet somehow only straight people can be found for gay roles. James Sutton is to be commended for not expressing contempt at gay men. (B) Nostalgia for the bad times of the past. The narrative is that gay life has improved since 2007 when John Paul kissed Craig. That's a false narrative. The gay & lesbian community (LG) now includes straight people (BTQ+). So straights have taken over gay spaces & diluted their gayness. Gay bars have disappeared since European countries became Muslim. Gay life is more dangerous than ever.
