Memory of an AIDS survivor

Labeled "L-1", the first London AIDS diagnosis in 1982 at age 33, Jonathan wants us to know our gay history. He reminds us that straights have no monopoly on bigotry. L-1 warns everybody of the coming dark 4 years for the LGBT community. He must be referring to USA president Trump, the most gay-friendly president ever. Jonathan loses further sympathy & credibility when he warns of the Climate Change hoax. (As a meteorologist, this blogger has thoroughly debunked that superstition.)

Jonathan spent time in jail for gay activity. He had many STDs including acute syphilis. In 1989 the first AIDS drug AZT was introduced. It killed every person who kept taking it (Dr. Fauci). Finally in 1996 an effective cocktail of medications was discovered. Jonathon survived 3 decades with his lover Nigel, who passed away last year.

The modern gay movement traces back to Stonewall, a trans bar in NYC. When gays & lesbians from other bars heard about the riot, they joined in. The gay disco group from the '70s disco era performed a few days ago at the inauguration. The Village People!
