Things before you were boring
But not anymore 
I didn't care about anything 
Nothing had meaning 
Before you I was shallow
Oh but not anymore 

You appeared from nowhere 
Right out of thin air
You stepped into my life
I lost my breath
Everything was forgettable 
But not anymore 

The sun wouldn't lift my spirits 
And the whiskey. Chase it with a beer
The moon was looking so sad 
Empty & hollow. Without glow
Then something changed my soul 
Someone walked into my life
Things before you were boring 
But not anymore 

Before you my heart had no purpose 
Before you my life was boring
But not anymore.
