You ARE a friend

You don't HAVE friends. You ARE a friend. My heart goes out to Josh. For me, I have one gay friend......my boyfriend. Only one person I want to hang out with. He is also my chosen family. So I'm not alone in my mind.

I have one straight friend of 30 years. I drive to visit him a couple times a month. I take him grocery shopping. We swap secrets. I took him to the 6 a.m. free clinic dentist when he had no hope. Now he has false teeth. What a great present from a friend! I only ask for pleasant company.
