Pride. What is it?
The mother of all secrets 
You want everybody to know 
Shame when it's wrong
Fear when it's right
It's plain common sense
To seek the safety of isolation 
From afar it looks like sin

Pride can be a lonely ride 
In your heart & soul 
You want the world to know 
Who you love the most
Exuberant you sing out loud 
Behind a wall of worry
If they find out about us
They won't say anything to your face

No gay roles for actual gays

Straight actor plays a gay role. The in-depth discussion reveals strange realities.  (A) Theater & Hollywood are full of gay people. Yet somehow only straight people can be found for gay roles. James Sutton is to be commended for not expressing contempt at gay men. (B) Nostalgia for the bad times of the past. The narrative is that gay life has improved since 2007 when John Paul kissed Craig. That's a false narrative. The gay & lesbian community (LG) now includes straight people (BTQ+). So straights have taken over gay spaces & diluted their gayness. Gay bars have disappeared since European countries became Muslim. Gay life is more dangerous than ever.
