Straight actor plays a gay role. The in-depth discussion reveals strange realities.  (A) Theater & Hollywood are full of gay people. Yet somehow only straight people can be found for gay roles. James Sutton is to be commended for not expressing contempt at gay men. (B) Nostalgia for the bad times of the past.
