Words on a screen
Echoes & shadows of you & me
Thoughts & dreams
All speech is rhetoric
My love is optimistic
And real as concrete

It massages your tender feet
Like notes of soft music
Calm the savage bear
Just enough for dinner
Dress me up. Take me somewhere

Verses in a poem
Rhyme & rhythm uneasy alliance
Smeared all over the octave
The thrill is high octane
Your eyes back-fire
My hands express desire

I will shut up now
Dim the lights. Pull the shades
Let the music play
Duet of Love & Romance
2 steps in circles we dance

The heart has found a home
Thoughts & dreams of you & me
In this free-style poem
