Another misty morning in paradise
Remember long ago I rolled the dice
Took a chance. You came through
I'm sitting next to an open window
Coffee & pleasant thoughts of you

Another minute goes by smooth
Another revelation of truth
I'm lounging here all alone
But I don't feel the loneliness
In the past or the future
We made plans to expand
The only love that would ever last
Another week deeper in romance

Risky warnings are ignored
They cried Wolf so often before
My fears spoke through habits
No love was good enough
They all up & left
Oh shut up your whining

Another risk I take in paradise
