Everything sucks except Love

What?    Life goes on
Heart keeps beating
Clock keeps ticking
Everything's a symphony
Until it's not

Lungs keep on breathing
Traffic jams & flows
Wind is calm then blows
Everything sucks until it doesn't
Until you step into LOVE
What's that?

Your heart skips a beat
The clock stops
You lose your breath
You don't scream at other cars
You're in a dream state
What?     Life goes on
But not like it was
Before you found love

Symphony becomes cacophony
Rhythm to staccato
Routine to urge & impulse
Two hearts sing in concert off-key
Everything sucks except
When Love comes out on stage.

No gay roles for actual gays

Image
Straight actor plays a gay role. The in-depth discussion reveals strange realities.  (A) Theater & Hollywood are full of gay people. Yet somehow only straight people can be found for gay roles. James Sutton is to be commended for not expressing contempt at gay men. (B) Nostalgia for the bad times of the past. The narrative is that gay life has improved since 2007 when John Paul kissed Craig. That's a false narrative. The gay & lesbian community (LG) now includes straight people (BTQ+). So straights have taken over gay spaces & diluted their gayness. Gay bars have disappeared since European countries became Muslim. Gay life is more dangerous than ever. And straight people don't understand. They don't feel it. Also many political gays are blinded to the everyday reality of gay people. First kiss John Paul & Craig 2007.

Meddling mother means well

Dad: What gives you a boner? Son: I'm 17. Everything gives me a boner. Your mom means well. She thinks you're gay. You think so too. Until mom steals your identity & applies for an LGBT scholarship to pay for your college. Now the entire school thinks you're gay. And straight girls are suddenly super-attracted to you. So you start to doubt your gayness. You're a virgin. So you don't really know. Lucky for you, bi-questioning counts as gay. "Helicopter Mom" (2014) on Tubi & other platforms. TV-14.
