Can it be a bracelet
Instead of a ring
Can it be a necklace

Might it be a tube of lipstick
Instead of a dozen roses
Maybe a ton of kisses
That say to you I'm devoted

Could it be a poem
Instead of a home
A sigh of passion
My eyes will never roam
Might it be a lustful stare
Instead of those 3 words
When I'm ill How you care
For me for days in bed

Can it be my breath
Or the heat of my body
Memories of my sweat
That give you certainty
Can it be a whisper in your ear
Honey Dear my Sweetheart
You have nothing to fear
Nothing can drive us apart

What can it be but love?
