Remember when
I tried to get over you
You broke up with me
Unexpectedly out of the blue
Foreshadows I was blind to

I tried to move on To empty
My closet of your intimate apparel
But I couldn't
Overcome with emotion
My body wouldn't let me

I tried to stop thinking of you
I took up martial arts
Because you broke my heart

I tried to date a new guy
But my body wouldn't let me
I had to wait for you
Patiently to un-break the breakup

You were trying to forget me
But your body wouldn't let you
Finally you un-broke my heart
When you came back to me

We stopped trying to move on
We gave up & let love win
Intensely we fell in love again

We tried to turn away 
But our bodies wouldn't let us
So we fell back in love
