I feared rejection

Alone & cooking for a few hours
Roadside dispersed camping
If 2 vehicles Don't come a-knocking
Wild & peaceful
Memories of you everywhere
Everything I thought
Would break us apart
Made our bond stronger
Only briefly a broken heart

The reason I didn't call
After all these years
All your love & affection
I will see you soon as scheduled
In a place without rejection
When you're not busy
When you can get away
Beautiful day at my house 
More wild than peaceful
Love is on the schedule
That's why I didn't call.

Our gay love is a secret Paradoxically There are no secrets between us Not supposed to be The more fiercely hidden The more outrageous are The chances we take We've taken some big ones As if we want to get caught We do.
