The After Glow
The day after being with you
My house remains filled with laughter
At the Riverfest we look like
A couple of undercover cops
Out for lunch
A gay couple
Quite approachable as we watch
On stage a man plays with
A 9-foot boa constrictor
Strangers chat with us in the crowd
On the walk back
We sit down in the empty field
On a man hole cover
Shoulder to shoulder
We smoke a bowl
Nobody cares if they do know
As discreet as we can force ourselves
Just two lovers undercover
No kisses or hand holding until later
It's a gloomy day the day after
Filled with After Glow & laughter.
