The sun is rising on the horizon
The day after love was made
In the forest on a hillside
I won't see you again for a while
The weather has turned nice
Joy bounced from tree to tree
Struck us both in the heart
We couldn't stop kissing
Because we didn't want to

Love softened our hearts
Joy slipped right in
Flopped down on the couch
Between the two of us
The sun has risen
A metric ton of kissing
I remember well

You may call it spring fever
We acted like teenagers
Two retired old men
